Having heard much about Guinot’s treatments and their staunch following by the Hollywood elite; like Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, not to mention British Supermodel Naomi Campbell, I just had to give Guinot a try...
Our epidermis is structured a bit like an onion, with multiple layers (approximately 30 cell layers if you want to be pedantic) so when the outer layers get dehydrated, it results in a visibly dull complexion. The peeling effect of the Beaute Neuve treatment helps to remove these dull cells, so fresh new skin is able to literally shine through.
The fruit acids in Peel’In gel (which is applied on and left for a few minutes to work its magic), penetrate between dead cells to break their intracellular links, which the Peel’Out mousse then gently removes. The Peel’Out process starts with a fluffy mousse, which after about ten minutes of constant massaging; with special focus on problem areas (which in my case was around my nose and chin) the mousse literally disintegrates - signalling that the blackheads and congestion have been dissolved (literally!) - I was so impressed!
The final step is the Clarimasque with pure Vitamin C. This helps to regenerate the elastin fibres, which in turn enhances the skin’s natural glow, while lightening it.
